5:29 :Sensui takes the stage once again to close out the conference.
5:24 :This is a real time trailer for Last Remnant, he makes clear. The trailer will be available today on Marketplace. I'm not sure if that means worldwide or just Japan, though.
5:22: Next, Last Remnant. This is the last game for the day. It is being introduced by Nobuyuki Ueda, producer. He will announce two big things today.
1. The game will be released first on Xbox 360!
2. Japan, North America, Europe release will occur simultanoeusly. It will be released this winter. That's just the 360 version.
They will share more details at E3. That's all they can announce today. However, they will show a trailer that was created on Xbox 360.

5:03 - 5:21: (Inifite Undiscovery Live Demo)Kojima will be playing Infinite Undiscovery live before everyone. Actually, his staff will do it. His staff is behind a curtain, but he came out to prove that he's holding a controller. Xbox Live marketplace is selecatble from the title screen. He starts off a new game.
He notes that while the demosntration today seemed very heavily action based, the game has an RPG approach as well. It can be enjoyed both as an action title and as an RPG. Like Vesperia, they will have demos for us to play today.
5:01: Introducing this game [Infinite Undiscovery] is Hajime Kojima, producer. The game is almost complete, he says. America will get the game on 9/2, Europe on 9/5, Japan on 9/11, Asia on 9/11.
He notes that this is actually really close to a simultaneous launch because the European and North Ameircan dates are actually shipment dates and it will take a bit for the game to actually reach shops there. The Japanese and Asian versions are actual store dates
4:57: Next, Indfinite Undiscovery. They're showing a trailer for Infinite Undiscovery. I don't know if this is new, but the footage shows one of the character's exploring one of the fields by riding a big bull-like creature. Set for 9/11/2008 release.
4:54: They're going to finish off with a new trailer for Star Ocean. A CG trailer from Visual Works. This will be included in the game as well and will be used for marketing the game.

AD 2064. Humanity made its third and most costly mistake. World War III. Weapons of mass destruction deployed with impunity, razed the land in the blink of an eye. People believed it's the end of the world. Planet earth was dying. So humanity began to search for a new home in space.
AD 2074 first contact. SD0001 first warp. SD0010 -- first official SRF mission. The ifrst official SRF mission ventures forth into the great Star Ocean. That was all narration. The CG footage shows ships warping through space. Then, presumably the main characters (a blond haired guy and a brown haired girl) on a planet walking through a green field. The trailer ends with "For Xbox 360."
4:52: Star Ocean will have a more science fiction feel to it.You will be able to travel through "a star ocean," jumping across planets. The game will feature new systems in its battle system. The game will be released in 2009. The game is currently in a state where it can be played.
4:50: The trailer is recapping the past Star Ocean games, Second Evolution, First Departure. Now, Space Date 010. Star Ocean The Last Hope. That's the official name --Star Ocean The Last Hope.
Yoshinori Yamagishi from Square Enix, producer of the game, will introduce the title. He says Star Ocean 4 will be released on the Xbox 360. He didn't say exclusively, though.
4:48: Next, Square Enix time. They're going to show three Square Enix titles. Hmm...Three?
First, a big title from throughout the world. Uh-oh! I think it's Star Ocean 4! Theh're showing a trailer. Yes, definitely Star Ocean 4.
4:45: Next, Mass Effect.
4:40: These [Mass Effect and Fable 2] will be introduced by Fumihiro Yamaguchi from MGS marketing. He's talking about the dog and recalling how he cried when he saw some movie with a dog in it recently. Fable 2 will be released some time in 2008.
http://xbox360media.ign.com/xbox360/image/article/880/880407/xbox-360-rpg-press-conference-live-blog-20080610004758903-000.jpg
4:38: Next, Fable 2 and Mass Effect introductions. That's right, Mass Effect still hasn't been released here. I wonder if they improved the framerate. They're showing trailers.
4:37: They're showing a pic of the premium pack of Tales of Vesperia. It includes a booklet and a face plate. I'm not sure if this is the special bonus Sensui was talking about though.
4:32: There will be a Vesperia demo in June some time on Xbox Live. Namco Bandai will be having some cross media developments for the title outside of the game. The Bonnie Pink single will be released on 8/6. Also a fully soundtrack will be released on 8/20. They'll also have a Tales of Magazine magazine from Kadokawa Shoten -- Volume one on 8/7. Then, one issue every month on the 10th. Yes, a magazine devoted to the Tales of series!
4:22 - 4:30 -- Here is a description of the Tales of Vesperia demo: Higuchi is going to play Tales of Vesperia in front of everyone. They're starting midway through the story. The visuals are super crisp. This looks way better than Trusty Bell. We're watching a fully voiced cinema scene. This is a really long story sequence. You appear to have a dog in your party. I don't think the dog talks or antying, though.
Holy crap! Some ninja dudes jumped in! I think there's going to be a battle. The characters are doing that JRPG thing where they clench their fists when they speak. Now one of the bad guys is cracking his knuckles. Prior to the battle, you're allowed to set up your party, it seems.
http://xbox360media.ign.com/xbox360/image/article/880/880407/xbox-360-rpg-press-conference-live-blog-20080610003625653-000.jpg
The battle system looks extreme 3D -- beyond past Tales titles. It would be hard to tell who your character is, except for the red arrow pointing at it.
Higuchi seems to be doing pretty bad. He's having to use lots of life items. One of the character's does a super huge finishing move. It has a short anime cut in. Very stylish. But not stylish enough to finish off the bad guys! The demonstration ends when Higuchi finally kills off the bad guy.
4:21: Also a first for the series is using the same artist for both the Japanese and English version theme songs. They're introducing the staff, although this is all known. Now Higuchi is going to lead the audience on a preview of the game. They brought a near final version of the game.
4:20: North America release for Tales of Vesperia will be in August some time. Europe will be in 2009. Asia ouside of Japan will be some time this summer. They explain that this is a first for the series -- a near simultaneous launch.
4:19: Next, coming to introduce Vesperia is Yoshito Higuchi and Tsutomu Gouda -- both are producers. They mention that the song that we just heard is actually making its debut here. The english version has been available on iTunes and is really popular here, they say. Now, they will announce the vesperia release date. 8/7/2008 for 7,800 yen.

4:16: They're going to show the opening movie for Vesperia. This is the first time it has been shown. It's really high quality animation -- handdrawn characters with presumably 3D background elements. The background music is the Japanese version of the song which is sung by Bonnie Pink. The US version will have an English version by her.
4:15: Sensui leaves the stage.
4:14: First, Tales of Vesperia. MS will release premium bundle pack with the game for 37,800 yen. It will include Vesperia plus 20 gigabyte HDisk 360 and a bonus item. The bonus item will be announced later.
4:13: Now he's recapping all the RPGs that have been released so far -- 14 in all -- boxes are shown on the screne. Today, we're going to introduce a number of RPGs from Bandai Namco and Square Enix.
4:11: Sensui is giving a general introduction. He's talking about the software that has been released for the system. Recently, Ninja Gaiden 2, Dragon Ball Z...Now he's describing the recent accessory kit campaign that gives buyers of a 360 and a select lineup of games a kit that includes a wired controller and a controller stand.
4:08: They're starting now. Takashi Sensui takes the stage.

Sensui
3:54: Here we go... The R&B is more B than ever! Also, they appear to have a demo area. There's a room upstairs. I walked up and saw Tales of Vesperia being displayed on multiple screens, but they wouldn't let me in.
3:24: It's not going to start for another forty minutes or so. In the meanwhile, they're playing some hip hop R&B that I hear the kids are into these days. This appears to be the same musical program as the last Japanese Xbox 360 press conference.
